Common Grant Application
About the Common Grant Application
The Nonprofit Support Center (NSC) is pleased to provide the downloadable version of the Foundation Roundtable Common Grant Application. Each year, you must also contact individual foundations to confirm their deadlines and inquire about additional requirements. The entire application is available in a single Microsoft Word document or as a PDF, and the three financial pages of the proposal are also available in an Excel file.
Suggested Steps for Using the Common Grant Application:
Step 1: Identify Potential Funders
Contact individual foundations to confirm deadlines and additional requirements.
Step 2: Define Your Goals
Save a ‘boiler plate’ proposal to be used later as you customize your proposals for various funders.
Step 3: Download our Common Grant Application and Financial Sheets
Step 4: Complete CGA Application
Type your request directly into form and save – complete all three financial sections.
Step 5: Customize Your Applications
Copy and paste relevant portions of your boiler-plate proposal into your new proposals as needed when applying to multiple foundations, be sure to address each funder's interests directly.
